In late 2019, I was approached to develop a new brand identity and website for a Vietnamese in-house dining business here in Niseko–Nga's Kitchen.
Nga is a colourful character whose food and sharing attitude is an extension of her culture and loving, personal style. It naturally followed that the brand should encapsulate that vitality and energy through a distinct look and feel in a market crowded with Japanese izakayas and western restaurants.
A key challenge was in helping the client establish the right mix of technology and human involvement in the booking process as her availability was subject to daily changes which would not always be reflected online. We opted to add a confirmation step to the booking process in the interest of ensuring all customer expectations were met when booking.
